Paid Family and Medical Leave Webinar October 28th, 8am

On behalf of Andrea Barton Reeves (CEO of the Connecticut Paid Family and Medical Leave Authority), Garrett Sheehan (President of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce), and the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce Health and Life Sciences Committee, I am pleased to invite you our upcoming program “Paid Family and Medical Leave:  What You Need To Know” that will be held on October 28th at 8am.  The details of this event can be accessed from the link below.  The Connecticut Paid Family and Medical Leave program is an employee funded program that will provide benefits starting on January 1, 2022. In addition, employees will start seeing a new mandatory payroll deduction (tax) of 0.5% starting January 1, 2021. Finally, employers will need to register with the CT Paid Leave Authority starting in November of this year. With all of these deadlines, details, and employer requirements, I am hoping you’ll join Andrea, Garrett, and me as we discuss the program, the upcoming deadlines, and what employers need to know.
